Q. How would Exhibitors apply for the exhibitors badges & other services?
A. Exhibitors Manual will be online from15th October, 2011, hence all the services related to the exhibitors would be available in the Online Exhibitors Manual. Request for Exhibitors badges, Extra Furniture & accessories can be done online.
 
Q. How do international visitors register themselves?
A. International Visitors can register online, which is complimentary. Registrations can be done online, by uploading mandatory documents. However, from 25th December, 2011 onwards a fee of US $ 100 will be applicable.
 
Q. How do I get my Indian visa?
A. Each individual will have to obtain their visas from the Indian Embassy/Consulate from their respective countries. To get invitation/ recommendation letter from the Council, kindly fill in online visa application form.

Q. What documents are required for national visitor’s registration?
A. CATEGORY A : MEMBER FIRM OF GJEPC : For Maximum 2 from each member company
  • 2 Recent color passport size photographs
  • GJEPC Membership Certificate (copy)
  • In case your name does not appear in the above mentioned certificate, you may attach a letter from the Co-partner/Co-directors whose name appears in the RCMC Certificate provided by the Council/Partnership Deed/Memorandum of Article of Association
  • Visiting Card of YOUR FIRM with YOUR NAME & designation
  • Valid photo ID is a must in all cases (copy) except railway pass**

CATEGORY B : GJEPC NON-MEMBER FIRMS : For Maximum 2 Persons from each company Owners, Partner, Proprietor ONLY

  • 2 passport size photographs
  • GJEPC Membership Certificate (copy)
  • For non registered firms Valid Sales Tax Registration Certificate/TIN / Shop & Establishment Certificate/ Gomasta License (copy)
  • Recommendation letter from Partner/Director or Proprietor of the firm. Letter must state your position in the firm
  • Visiting Card of YOUR FIRM with YOUR NAME & designation
  • Valid photo ID is a must in all cases (copy) except railway pass**

 
Q. How one would receive visitor badges ?
A. For Domestic Visitors : On fulfillment of all the requirements as per the terms and conditions set by the Council, your visitor badge.
  • Badges will be sent by courier/ registered mail, if the application is submitted on or before 30 November 2011.
  • Can be collected from GJEPC visitor registration office between 15-31 December 2011 if the application is submitted between 1-15 Dec 2011
  • Can be collected from registration area at the venue from 5 January, 2011 onwards for applications submitted from 16-21Dec 2011



For International Visitors : They can get it collected from the Registration Area on their arrival.

 
Q. Is there discount on group booking?
A. No, there is no discount for group booking.
 
Q. Is my entry pass transferable?
A. No, the entry pass is Non-transferable.
 
Q. What are the Show Dates & Timings?

Q. What will the show display?
A. The show will have on display (i) precious metal jewellery both plain and studded (ii) loose diamonds & gemstones (iii) Couture jewellery.
 
Q. Can we purchase jewellery by paying cash, during the show?
A. No, it’s a strict B2B show. You can only place the orders with the exhibitors.
 
Q. Where are the exhibitors from?
A. The exhibitors are from all over India.
 
Q. Where is the exhibitors information?
A. The exhibitors information will be online under Exhibitor list & their booth loction will be highlighted on the interactie floor plan, which will be online shortly.
 
Q. Where is the exhibitors information?
A. The exhibitors information will be online as soon as we receive the same from the Exhibitors.
 
Q. Are you conducting roadshows?
A. Yes, we are conducting International as well as national roadshows.
 
Q. How do Press/ Media register themselves?
A. There is a Press/ Media registration form available for downloading in media section.
 
Q. Is the accommodation easily available?
A. Yes, Organisers have tied up with few hotels near by venue at unbeatable rates, but advance booking is recommended. Our official hotels’ room reservations link is available with option of online reservation.
 
Q. Do the hotels provide to & fro airport transportation?
A. Yes, airport transfers are included in the room rates at official hotels.
 
Q. Who are the Visitors?
A. Manufactures, Wholesellers, Retailers, Overseas buyers.
 
Q. What is the duty structure in India for importing or for selling jewellery

Q. Is there an overnight storage / safe facility available at venue?
A. Safes can be provided to each exhibitor at extra cost.
 
Q. How can an exhibitor/ visitors clarify their queries ?
A. Reply to the queries would be given, if it is posted through online Help desk.
 
Q. Will cafeteria provide Jain food?
A. Yes, Jain Food will be available at the cafeteria.
 
Q. Will non veg food available?
A. No.
 
Q. Is parking facility available at the venue?
A. Yes, limited parking is available at the venue.
 
Q. Do you have International Pavilions?
A. Yes, we have 4 international pavilions. They are Belgium, Israel Thailand & Turkey.
