International Visitors
Q : How do international visitors register themselves?
A. International Visitors can register online, which is complimentary. Registrations link is presently active. Registration can be done, by uploading mandatory documents. However, from 11th February, 2013 onwards online International Visitors will be closed, if you register at venue a fee of US$ 100 will be applicable.
Q : What are the documents required to be uplaoded for online International visitor’s registration?
A.
Passport Size Colour Photograph
Scanned copy of Passport Copy, pg with photograph & validity
Business / Visiting Card with your Name & company details printed on it
NRI Proof for Indian passport (* Residential proof/card/Green card/Driving license/ work permit)
* The above files should be in jpg and gif format, file size should be less than 1 MB.
Plz Note :-If you register at venue you will have to get Recommendation from any Signature Mumbai 2013 Exhibitor
Q : How do an International Visitor request an invitation letter for Visa purposes?
A. Each individual will have to obtain their visas from the Indian Embassy/Consulate for their respective countries. To get invitation/ recommendation letter from the Council, kindly fill in online visa application form.

Q : What tools does the show offer to help me navigate the huge show floor?

Pre-Show Navigation:
INTERACTIVE FLOOR PLAN :- Our interactive website tool, allows you to Search Exhibitors using and Online Interactive Floor Plan. Find the companies and their location that interest you most before the show so that you can add them to your agenda.
"OBMP :-The 'Online Business Matching Program' enables registered visitors to find and interact with exhibitors that match their business profile.
Auto Match:- Get a list of matching exhibitors based on your profile. You can send enquiries, make appointments or get more information about the exhibitor.
Search Exhibitors:- Use the advance search feature to find a particular exhibitor or search according to business or product category.
Other Benefits:-

On-site Navigation:
Color-coded floor plan which is available with the welcome Kit at the entry of the Halls for you to take along.
Information Kiosks staffed with Show personnel are located throughout the Show.
Giant Floor Plan that give you a bird's eye view is available when you enter from Visitor Gate.

Q : What documents are required for national visitor’s registration?
A.
CATEGORY A : MEMBER FIRM OF GJEPC : For Maximum 2 from each member company
ONLY FOR Traders / Jewellers / Dealers / Partner / Director Owner/ Proprietor of the firms (Does not include Employees or others)
Copy of Valid photo ID (Driving License, PAN Card, Election Card, Photo Credit/Debit Card or Passport except railway pass ) is a must in all cases
2 Recent passport size colour photograph (In original with light background. Digitally scanned photos and photocopied photos are NOT accepted. Photos with dark, busy, or patterned backgrounds will not be accepted. The photos must have been taken within the last six months.)
Copy of GJEPC Membership Certificate In case your name does not appear in the above mentioned certificate, you may attach a letter from the Co-partner/Co-directors whose name appears in the RCMC Certificate provided by the Council/ Partnership Deed/Memorandum of Article of Association
** If you are a PRIVILEGE VISITOR pre-identified by the Council, then you need not submit any supporting document. Registration will be accepted  ONLY by online process on www.iijs-signature.org
 
CATEGORY B : GJEPC NON-MEMBER FIRMS : For Maximum 2 Persons from each company
ONLY FOR Traders / Jewellers / Dealers / Partner / Director Owner/ Proprietor of the firms (Does not include Employees or others)

Valid Sales Tax Registration Certificate/TIN / Shop & Establishment Certificate/Gomasta License stating nature of business
In case of your name does not appear in the above mentioned certificate, you may attach a copy of Partnership Deed stating your name/Proof of being Proprietor/ Director/ Owner of the firm

CATEGORY C : EMPLOYEES OF REGISTERED FIRMS OF GJEPC AND NON-REGISTERED FIRMS : Maximum 4 employees ONLY from each Store / Outlet

Q : Can we register at the venue?
A. Yes, you can register at Hall 7 by submitting mandatory documents & paying applicable fees.
Q : What discount on group booking?
A. No, There is no discount for group booking.
Q : Is my entry pass transferable?
A. No, Entry passes cannot be transferred.
Q : Can we purchase jewellery by paying cash, during the show?
A. No, it’s a pure B2B show. You can only place the orders with the exhibitors.
Q : Do you have International Pavilions?
A. Yes, we have 5 international pavilions. They are Belgium, Israel, Turkey & Thailand
Q : Who are the Exhibitors?
A. Our major Exhibitors are National and International jewellery & diamond manufacturer.
Q : Where is the Exhibitors Information?
A. The Exhibitors information will be available through OBMP and Online Exhibitor Directory.
Q : Are you conducting Roadshows?
A. Yes, we are conducting International as well as National Roadshows.
Q : How one would receive visitor badges ?
A.
For Domestic Visitors : On fulfillment of all the requirements as per the terms and conditions set by the Council, your visitor badge.
Badges will be sent by courier to the above address only if they reached us on or before -23rd January, 2013
Pick up from Mumbai GJEPC Registration office– from 1st – 18th February, 2013
Pick up from Venue – from 21st February, 2013 onwards
For International Visitors : Can collected the badges from the Registration Area on their arrival.
Q : Is the accommodation easily available?
A. Yes, Council have tied up with few hotels nearby venue at unbeatable rates, advance booking is recommended. You can review the hotel properties and make your hotel reservation online.
Q : Do the hotels provide to & fro airport transportation?
A. Yes, airport transfers are included in the room rates at official hotels.
Q : How can an exhibitor/ visitors clarify their queries ?
A. Reply to the queries would be given, if it is posted through online Helpdesk.
Q : Does cafeteria provide Jain food?
A. Yes, Jain Food is available at the cafeteria.
Q : Is non veg food available?
A. No.
Q : How do Press/ Media register themselves?
A. There is a Press/ Media registration form.
Q : Can exhibitors do online booth application?
A. Yes
Q : What are the customs procedures for my goods bought for exhibiting ?
A. Goods can be bought under ATA carnet or TIB.
Q : How do I clear my goods from the customs?
A. This will be done by official freight forwarder appointed for the exhibition in co-ordination with MMTC and Customs.(Please note the whole exhibition area itself is a custom bonded area).
Q : What is the duty structure in India for importing or for selling jewellery?

Q : Is there an overnight storage / safe facility available at venue?
A. There is no overnight storge facility, though exhibitors have to apply for a safe well in advance as per the deadlines at an additionl cost.
Q : How would Exhibitors apply for the exhibitors badges & other services?
A. Exhibitors Manual will be online form 15th October, 2012, hence all the services related to the exhibitors would be available in the Online Exhibitors Manual. Request for Exhibitors badges, Extra Furniture & accessories can be done online.
Q : Who are the Visitors?
A. Manufactures, Wholesellers, Retailers, Overseas Jewellery trade buyers.
Q : How can my booth get more prominence ?
